🥟 Servings: 12 pies
⏲️ Preparation time: Approximately 45 minutes
⏲️ Frying time: 3-4 minutes/pie
🔶 Number of calories per pie: Approximately 250 kcal
Ingredients: 🥟
🔶400 ml warm water
🔶10 g salt (one grated spoon)
🔶 1 tablespoon of oil
🔶1 tablespoon of vinegar 9%
🔶 1 large egg
🔶700 gr flour + 50 gr for kneading on the table
Filling: 🧀
1 kg well-drained cottage cheese
4 chicken eggs
30 gr of melted butter
Salt, about 10 gr
Instructions: 🍽️
For Dough:
In a large bowl, mix the lukewarm water, salt, oil, vinegar and egg to form the base of the dough.
Add the flour gradually and mix carefully until you get a smooth dough.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes to achieve a smooth texture.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
For the filling:
In a bowl, mix well-drained cottage cheese with eggs, melted butter and salt to make a tasty and creamy filling.
After the dough has had its well deserved rest, divide it into 12 equal pieces to create the pie shells.
Assembling the Dough:
Carefully roll each piece of dough into a thin circle on a floured surface.
Brush the dough sheet with a mixture of melted butter and oil.
Fold the sheet of dough, then grease again.
Let the dough rest.
Frying:
Heat a deep frying pan with oil in which you can fry the pies.
Fry the patties in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides, making sure they are cooked all the way through.
Service:
Remove the fried patties and let them drain on paper towels.
