I love how somatics lets me reconnect safely with places that i am scared to feel and confront.

I am learning more day by day, thanks. i see now how many of the moves are interconnected, but, why did you say dont worry about the shoulders? i am also seeing now from your past saying do the movements as you instructed is not always good advise good as we learn sometines not to" follow the rules", my brain remembers when you said on the video to dao as shown, but, especially after this rib injury that we have to change the way we move.

In the video I say that _I personally don't focus very much on the shoulders. I encourage you to look at the deeper foundation of the shoulders, which are the ribs. You're welcome to focus on your shoulders. I change my practice every day. You do this or any other movement exactly the same, and that is valuable. You can also move in the way you body is telling you it needs to move, and that has value, too. Look at for the constrictions that limit your breathing space, in every direction. Teach entire lines to open and close more freely. Teach the places that don't know how to move very well. Get the adjacent helpers to give them more slack.

I am glad you are doing the movements for the front, like this one. The day is always better when you are out of that patterns. Great to hear that you are practicing. It's self-care, self-maintenance, and healthy expression of self-love.
