Thankk youu soo much for this video. I am amateur boxer and I broke my 5th metacarpal in the January. From then I didnt train till a month ago. But when i started training i started feeling pain in the wrist, especially when I was working on the punching bag. I started doing these exercises few days ago and my wrist feels much better and stronger. I hope I wont have that pain in the wrist anymore

Just found this video and excited that it could possibly help my wrist pain. You mention carpal tunnel and tennis elbow in other videos but do you have additional videos or help for dequervains tenosynovitis? I got a bad case after my first child, had to go through a couple rounds of injections and finally had surgery. Even after physical therapy my wrist is still in lots of pain so I’d love any extra tips you might have.

I am a bass guitarist from Ukraine, 65 years old, and I haven't played the bass for two years because I have RSI in both hands. I have treated it with NSAIDs , done many different physiotherapeutic procedures, but it didn't help. The pain is not severe, but it even occurs from using a computer mouse. My left hand is not loaded with anything but it hurts the same. So the question is - can I do the exercises you recommend, and others, in this condition (mild pain)? There are many videos on KZitem dedicated to this problem. Should I wait until the pain is completely gone and only then start doing similar exercises for stretching, training, and so on? What happens when I don't know how I may have injured my wrist (active job, heavy lifter) but I know I can hardly open the door to my car with one hand or carry a bottle (any mild load in ulnar deviation) and bringing my wrist into deeper extension is also very painful. Hearing small crackles too.. should I see a specialist because it must be serious? Could I have caused some injury in the TFC that's generally mild and should heal soon as long as I'm more careful with it?

Hi Tone and Tighten, Sound guy here. Your video is great quality, content is 5 stars and you are using lav mic as well. But I felt there is way more echo in the room. So suggestion is, I would recommend to get some "sound absorbing panels" or hang some curtain while recording. This has drastically improve audio. Else you could record in a smaller room which has a good number of things & furniture in it. Objects absorb sound and reduces echo. Following this can really bring up the audio to greater quality.

I've been having wrist pain for a few weeks. Yesterday I thought it was better, and I lifted a really heavy box. Not a smart move on my part tbh. Fingers crossed (on my good hand) that doing these exercises regularly will help. So far even just holding my hand still in certain positions hurts.

hello yasterday o was sitting with my arms crossed you know how people are crossing their arms when they wait or they are dissapointed anyway and i was watching some funny videos and when i laughed by mistake i pulled my left arm down on to my right hand wrist and it made a loud pop and now when i move it i feel a sharp pain right on the back side of the wrist im not sure if its broken or not i can still move it but the wrist hurts shall i make a gp appointment?

Thank you! Really great video for covering all the bases to strengthen the wrist. I sprained my wrist 20 years ago bowling, throwing a strong cranker hook and it still affects me as I found out this year when I joined a bowling league for the first time in, you guessed it, 20 years. Its affecting my bowling, making me look like a chump sometimes. So I've started doing some of the exercises shown here but wasn't really aware of several of them. I'm going to start doing the ones I've been missing and see how it helps, and hopefully get rid of the wrist brace as it limits what I can do with the ball.

@@R-Lee- Thankfully yes! I've improved my wrist pain significantly since I left my original comment. Here's what helped: 1. The exercises in this video are good, but they didn't fully address my actual issue, which was very weak forearms vs relatively strong biceps. The imbalance was causing pain. 2. So what I did was include 3-4 weighted forearm exercises across a week of gym workouts. For example: Push Day - 3 sets of reverse wrist curls with dumbbells (using a bench or just using legs for support). Pull day - 3 sets of Reverse curls using the straight bar in a cable machine (overhand grip). Can use a higher weight here, focusing on the contraction through the forearm. Also pull day - Swapping normal bicep curls for hammer curls. More emphasis on the forearm - again good for strengthening the area. My bicep size has also grown despite this switch, so don't worry about that. Leg day (later in the week) - Another set of reverse curls in the cable machine. (Any day) - 2-3 sets of relatively heavy farmers carries, walking for 1 minute per set. Can be a finisher at the end of a workout. As you get more familiar with these exercises, you can adjust your rest periods accordingly. This isn't an exhaustive list by any means, but they've worked for me. As a side benefit, my forearms are noticeably more muscular, which we're all striving for, right? 😁 Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Have been doing exercises the physiotherapist gave me and it got worse. No fun not being able to wipe own bottom or brush teeth. Not to keen on just trying anything new I saw on KZitem. I'd like a video where it takes you through steps to pinpoint where exactly in the wrist the problem area is located. I have started to develop a permanent light pain in my wrist on the pinki side. I suppose ulnar side its called. I suspect its from prolonged continuous use of laptop. But ive been working on laptop since more than 7 years and its recently that ive developed this pain. Now when i finish work everyday. My wrist is in a very tiring and little painful condition. Would these exercises help with my situation? And after how many weeks its supposed to be getting better? P.s. yourve video looks really helpful. It feels relaxing doing these exercises

On the 3rd warm up exercise where u keep ur elbow in I had pain on the outside of my wrist when I turned my hand over...what could cause that?

I just subscribed to your channel. I just had some pain at the base of my thumb. I did a couple of the excercises that you suggested in this video and it alleviated some of the pain. I will continue and see if it helps even more. Thank you.

Wow - I went to bowling and the pain in my wrist was terrible. I just dropped my heavy ball and had to use a very light alley ball. Found these exercises and the pain was highly reduced with the 1st go thru! Thanks so much. Now I know I need to work on the wrists and feet.
