Thanks for this, very helpful. Your style and clarity are great. Loads of people use their cell phone and produce perfectly good video. Just use landscape mode to match the way most people will watch it. Turn your phone 90 degrees.

I sent my Cetme parts kit along with PTR receiver and heavy match barrel to Bill Springfield. Magpul PRS stock and a M-lok handguard. Had him work his magic on the trigger. And updated to his recoil buffer. He also installed a picatinny rail on the receiver for a scope.

Great video! I think its much better to press the barrel before you weld the trunion in because its easier, no risk of damaging the receiver, and you can measure bolt gap easily with the barrel connect to the bolt outside of a receiver.

What type welder did you use/what type do you recommend?
I used the mig with gas. I would suggest a mig or tig welder. Don’t try to use a stick welder it would cause you problems with the thin sheet metal used in the receivers

@@adamsgunroom9331 no I understood that with the masking tape and caliper. I’m torn between pressing my barrel into the trunion before or after putting the trunion to receiver. Another question: what setting to have my mig welder on? Is there anything I could practice on that is similar to the receiver thickness and composition? Thanks
