I love the cavy crossover. But since i have a limited time to workout i included a simple bodyweight squat. I'll start with the dumbbell right in front of my foot and squat down to pick it up Stand back up, do the cross over and squat back down, let the weight touch the floor in front of my foot and rep it again. So when i do 10 reps of cross over on each arm i also did 20 bodyweight squats. It really gets my whole body up and running. Just be careful going too heavy at first because you WILL want to cheat the squat and if the weight is too heavy you'll mess your back up. Thanks Jeff for all your knowledge.

it's really hard to say, but they are meant to be done from month 1 to month 18 in order (there are an additional 6 you can't see on his website for people who sign up for the monthly package). like the first month is low volume, heavy lifting to build strength, while the second month is high volume to build muscle and get things rounded out. and each month is centered around a unique technique/approach that takes into account what you did last month. doing them in order really gives you a window into Jeff's mind. it's a heck of a journey. I'm almost done with "the four horsemen" and about to start on the secret months. have you done any programs? you definitely need a good base to start

Jeff's literally the Bruce Lee of fitness world. His methods and philosophy reminds me of "water" famous quotes: You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. I wish they taught this stuff in gym/health class. But I guess that's what this channel's for... I think the focus in society should be on LEARNING not WHERE you learn. If you can learn and memorize and research everything that's taught in college or school, outside of college or school, why should school be manditory and college be so recommended? If you can become as smart as a straight A student who goes to an upper class college while living in a shoe box, why should employers only be concerned about your test scores and degrees? If you're smart enough to do the job, or any other job, why are college stats the only way to prove it...? Didn't mean to make a long comment it's just something that makes no sense to me.
@willmann3197

I think the whole education system is flawed. More than half the stuff you learn is of no use. I much rather learn how to take things apart and put them back together. I think reading writing and math is necessary but 12 yrs of history should not be mandatory. Why not teach skills and make that mandatory.

I don't get it, 3 weeks ago I had really bad shoulder pain after a day of chest and triceps probably form bench press. The next day you post a video on all the reasons why you get shoulder pain from bench press. Two days ago I did chest and tris again and cleaned up my bench form and can bench 135 5 reps which may seem small but I'm only 14 years old, 5'7" and 150 pounds. In the past few months I've dropped 10 pounds of pure fat and have about 10 to 14 percent body fat. THANKS JEFF, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

And I have to search in KZitem search engin for the specific workout exercises ,such if I want to learn about chest workouts exercises, I have to search Athlanta x chest work out exercises and the KZitem offers 100s of chest work out from different channel and attention channel. If you can put the related workout or exercises for the specific subjects in Playlist with a clear folder name. I think that would be easier to fine what I'm looking for. I respect you and your team hard work and this is only my opinion. Thank you and you are all the best.

Hey Jeff, I have a question. I don’t quite understand what you mean when you say “get the biceps squeezing together”. I understand that it’s better for your chest but how exactly do you squeeze your biceps together...? Thanks and keep up the amazing work!

I just did a quick, but intense, 10 minute 2 round circuit of 5 of these, non stop, one minute each. Holy crap you guys. My pecs are sore in a way I've never felt before. Incorporate these exercises where you can, they are awesome.

Bret says narrow grip (hands shoulder width apart) is best for triceps and chest.

Start wide, finish narrow ... ideally with hex dumbbells cleanly against each other, to bring in the adductive isometric component, as Jeff references in the Plate Press exercise above

Can i do the 3d crossover from low to high for upper chest?
@vincemiller9914

yes, if the attachment is low, you target the upper fibers if the attachment is high, you target the lower fibers

I've been having trouble with working on the lower portion of the chest which is causing my chest to be round rather than flat. I've tried to do dips but they are a little difficult and I feel it more in the triceps. I need strengthen the triceps but what else would recommend?

I did the Cavalier Crossover and a spot (a nerve?) had sharp pain in my back. I used my right hand and the pain was on the left of my back, around the shoulder blade. Since then I still get these tingling feelings and a bit of numbness once in a while or if I sit in a certain way. Any advice?

I wish I had this information 20 years ago - I hurt my shoulder doing flys - slight tear in rotator cuff - I decided against surgery - 20 years later I am back in the gym seriously every day and Jeff has been a tremendous help in my work outs- I have been able to train with virtually no pain following his advice. The greatest benefit of his expertise is being able to pass this information on to my son and avoid the poor technique I learned 20 years ago. Thanks Jeff.
