Full disclosure, I have never thought of myself as flexible and yet, I’ve never made a concerted effort to improve. It’s been one of those things that I keep meaning to do, but just never get there.
Movements are slow, it’s not cardio, we’re not muscle building, am I getting anything out of this, or is it a waste of time? These are the things that typically went through my mind.
The older I get the more I see the value and necessity of having flexible movement, limber joints and elongated muscles. The time has finally come!
