My sister and her husband knew Stevie and he happened to be in Dallas while I was visiting them. I had heard a song off his first album on the radio while visiting and exclaimed, "Who is THAT???" and they took me to meet him at one of his brother`s shows there. This was before he became a massive legend. He was very nervous about drawing attention away from his brother that evening but it was him that got me started listening to Jimmie`s band.

Stevie was humble until the end. I met him when he was "big" and he was really down to earth.

This is great! You 100% on the playing with conviction! That’s the biggest element that some guys miss and it just doesn’t feel right! Also I feel like it’s worth mentioning, the left hand muting, so often it’s like Stevie is strumming chords but only hitting notes on one string with muting

love the way you put this, very much have to be able to play it perfectly cleanly if not unplugged before it’ll sound good through an amp. and talking about the commitment, he was very sure what he was playing was what he was playing and never doubted it for a second.

I would like to see a Close up camera on your finger nail and pick to see how SRV did it.

I was going to make a few more vids on his right hand technique so I might include a vid with close ups. Thanks.

Always some useless prick shows up with pointless negativity. I`d crack your skull.
