Dirrty was a hit! But it did not get that acceptance among many people because it's "over" sexual (Xtina is just ahead of her time, not her fault, same thing happened to Bionic Album, if it was released these days, it would have been a huge success). Back to the topic, Beautiful saved the album campaign and pushed it on top faster and stronger. Although Beautiful featured LGBT models, that conservative people hate too, but it spoke to millions of people , including me, and made us accept and love ourselves. It became an anthem in every LGBTQ occasion.. the whole album is a masterpiece... I still listen to it weekly and it's been two decades already since it's release, but it's so powerful, successful and ahead of its time.

You can say it was tougher back then when women who presented their sexuality on their own terms was feared, and gay acceptance was also riddiculed. Especially with 2000s where culture was, heavy on homophobia, and slut shaming. Christina did what people are saying they want to do now, decades ahead. She also had a lot of feminist themes in her music way before it was cool with pop today. Damn. All on one album.

Just Be Free is a demo album released by Warlock Records featuring music recorded by American singer Christina Aguilera. After finishing her run on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, a then fifteen-year-old Aguilera began recording the album with New Jersey-based producers Robert Allecca and Michael Brown. The pair gave Aguilera the opportunity to use a recording studio and presented her with demo music with the understanding that they could use the material for their own purpose, but also claiming they would not commercially release the recordings. This comment is just my opinion so I don’t need Christina stands coming after me. I think Christina has a fantastic voice, but in my option Whitney and Mariah are on another level in their primes. Christina has an amazing voice, but she does over sing. Reflections though, are good examples of a song where she sings with perfect form where she is not over singing and she is using her voice without pushing too far… her problem imo. Stripped is her only I truly enjoy from her as a body of work. Her first album was good for the times, but too frosty. Back to Basics is nice, but something is missing. Bionic is her 2nd best imo and underrated.

People are allowed to have preferences and with Christina it’s always about her personal style to perform/making music… but I do enjoy KZitem reactions when people change their minds from when they where younger and had an opinion based on a Britney vs Christina battle. I do love her style and for me it’s about the way she keeps her songs like “imperfect perfect”. I was a pro athlete when I was younger… and I remember how a little bit more/over the top got the gold medals… like she do those crazy runs, growls ect. because she can do it and has the voice unlike a lot of pop artists today. I also like Whitney and Mariah and I do actually think that Whitney had a better voice than Christina (in her prime) - but her songs doesn’t speak to me and recall that special feeling… Mariah is also an amazing song writer - I know that, but again… her songs don’t do anything for me as well. And how history, culture and other things makes artists better/bigger than other depends on so many thinks… …maybe people see Whitney and Mariah as bigger stars but Whitney destroyed her voice and a lot of her last performances was horrible… I remember when people actually left her concert in Copenhagen… it was really heartbreaking seeing her like that at the end… I my opinion Mariah isn’t as great anymore… I actually think despite all the hate/criticism about Christinas bad technique that Christina have preserved her voice and sounds better than Mariah today… and can sing live… …and that’s makes her really great after doing 30 + years of live performances 😄
