I really like this. Early in the video you said that you do a lot of movements in bed. How about a future video featuring the best movements to do in a bed when you wake up stiff and sore?

That is a great question. I could make a video about that. Until then, here is my answer. The soreness in the morning ( generally speaking) means your muscles were at a high idle all night. Years ago, I used to have a lot of morning soreness. I began to do more somatics before I went to sleep. Get the system relaxed before you go to sleep. The minimum is front and back to get out of stress. You can add to that the sides. If you want to be very thorough, you can add some gentle twisting pandiculations. It is interesting to experience the slightly different tension release based on how far my knees are tipped to the side. This has been a good one to play with.

Yes, now that you are building your abilities, you can see how many possibilities there are. Just a small change in angle allows you to learn a whole new line. I am glad you are exploring these lines of the back. In many people, they are in tension all the time.

That's great to hear. Address the mood with the appropriate movements. Build your awareness and understanding of how mood and tension interconnect. Keep experimenting. I was feeling a little stressed, when I did it on the side where my hip is worse I felt calmer after. Is this one a better one to to than the other nelly. I press back pocket and opposite shoulder down then pull them together. Just making sure I do it right

This is a different focus than Whoa Nellie, which is for the simple vertical lines of the back. It is easy to get stuck in the tension of the diagonal which are different layers of muscles. If you are having hip issues, my general comment is that you have to look more carefully at the hidden tensions that limit rotation and side bending. The times when there is confusion or feelings of being un-coordinated, that is when you are in a very valuable situation. When you get into those states, slow it down, simplify it.
