You know, this news is all over the internet and KZitem. I read a little of it. Then just shrugged and walked away again. I wont be seeing the film. I hope it loses millions. If there is any justice in the world it will. It will be another Solo, Marvels, Indy 5. KK is already arguing with this new director. How long before she is fired from the film? Half way? Near the end? Many reshoots later? Start placing your bets!!!! I bet it goes the same way as every other KK film project to date. KK ignores what is going on, till its too late. Gets involved to sort of the mess and the whole thing needs redoing from more or less the start. The signs are already there. With no firm script, only vague ideas and a director that is all about female power messages, and not one idea, story plot point or character other than Rey is back. I just hope that it turns into a total mess, and once again KK is utterly humiliated, but it wont matter either way as she will still be in her job at the end. I cant think of a single Star Wars fan of the original trilogy would would support or go to see this movie...any that do need to take a long look at themselves after what this director witch has just said about men in her interviews....
@Miluielle

What a lot of grandstanding from Chinoy based on nothing. I'm wondering what it is exactly she thinks women were kept from? The first female director was in the 1800s. We all know (as was said in Bowelstrek's vid) Kathleen Kennedy has been in charge for some time at Disney/Star wars. NOT to forget that there were eleven women or more involved in 'shaping' the Star Wars stories of the expanded universe as far back as the 90s. Like most in the entertainment industry post 2010 there is complete disregard of the achievements of any women that came before them! That is frankly insulting!!!! It is such a hypocrisy of these entertainment talking heads to dare say they are advocates for women, when they actively invalidate merit based work of the past! It's clear from their behaviour that they are not even activists really - they're only activists for themselves and using virtue-signaling 'feminism' as a weapon to take opportunities they are not fit for, haven't worked for and to ward off valid criticism.
