Ingredients:
Chicken breast - 2 pieces (300gms)
Salt - as required
Pepper powder - as required
Garlic - 12 cloves (finely chopped)
White onion - 1 big size (finely chopped)
Fresh cream - 100 ml
Origano seasoning - 2 tsp
Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
Nutmeg - 1 pinch (powder)
Lemon juice - 1 lemon
Butter - 20 gms
Method:
1. Marinate the chicken:
a. Make thin cuts on chicken as shown.
b. Apply salt & pepper on both sides.
c. Apply lemon juice on both sides.
Marinate for half an hour
2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan
3. Add butter.
4. Add marinated chicken & fry both the sides equally for 5 minutes each on low flame
5. Keep aside
6. In the same pan add finely chopped onion, fry till onion becomes translucent on low medium flame.
7. Add finely chopped garlic, mix well and fry for 2 minutes.
8. Add 1/2 cup of water.
9. Once the water boils add oregano seasoning & mix well.
10. Add chilli flakes & cook for a minute.
11. Add fresh cream & mix well.
12. Add a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg & cook on low flame until the required consistency.
13. Check the taste and add salt if needed.
14. Once the sauce is ready add fried chicken and cook for 2 minutes.
15. Spread the sauce over the chicken.
Ready to serve!
