Ingredients:
Mutton - 500 gms
Onion - 2 Medium Sized
Bay Leaf -2
Star Anise - 1
Green Cardamom - 3
Black Cardamom -1
Cinnamon Stick - 1 inch
Cloves -5-6
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp(As per your spice preference)
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tspn
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tbsp
Nutmeg Powder - 1/2 tsp
Curd - 1/2 Cup
Coriander Leaves for garnishing
Salt - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Method:
1. Heat oil in a cooker.
2. Add sliced onions and fry for 3-4 mins on low -medium flame.
3. Add all the dry spices (Bay Leaf, Star Anise,Green Cardamom, Black Cardamom, Cinnamon Stick, Cloves) and mix well.
4. Add Ginger Garlic paste and saute till onion turn golden brown.
5. Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
6. Add little water and mix the masala well.
7. Now add mutton and give a good mix.
8. Add Salt
9. Add Nutmeg powder
10.Keep on low flame and add curd. Mix well.
11.Add 1 cup (around 300 ml)
12.Close the lid and let it whistle 7-8.
13.Once the pressure releases, open and add coriander leaves. Boil for a minute.
14.Ready to serve.
