Ingredients:
tomatoes - 2 medium sized
mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
jeera/cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
pepper corn - 1/2 tsp
garlic - 10 cloves
green chillies - 2
dried red chillies - 2
turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
tamarind - 1 small lemon sized(Soak in hot water)
curry leaves - 1 sprig
coriander leaves - add more for taste
salt 1/2 tsp
1. Crush pepper corns & cumin seeds.
2. Add garlic & green chillies, crush together as shown.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
5. Add red chillies.
6. Add curry leaves.
7. Add chopped tomatoes and let it soften.
8. Add salt and turmeric powder mix well.
9. Add tamarind water and let it boil for 2 minutes.
10.Add the crushed powder we made earlier(jeera+pepper+garlic+green chillies). Mix well.
11.Let it boil for 4-5 minutes.
12.Add 1 1/2 cup water and boil for 5-7 minutes.
13.Add coriander leaves for great taste.
14.Ready to serve.
