Being flexible in the back is necessary to do certain tasks in daily life such as cutting toenails or tying shoe laces etc.. It was while talking with one of my patients that I thought it was absolutely necessary to make this video: how to make your back more flexible and how to touch your feet?
Very often, besides the pain in the lower back, it is the posterior chain that is at fault. By being too tense, it becomes difficult to bend forward.
I suggest you do 2 "Mézières" type exercises to regain a "functional" back flexibility ;)
It is by doing these movements regularly that you will get results!
Posology
- Exercise n°1 Maintain the stretching 6 seconds then release. Do 10 repetitions over 2 series.
- Exercise n°2 same as exercise n°1
Composition of the video :
0:00 Introduction
0:21 Video Summary
0:55 Exercise #1 Posterior Chain Stretch
2:26 Variation Exercise #1
3:10 Exercise #2 Overall Leg Stretch
Feel free to post your comments 🙃 I'd love to hear your feedback on these exercises!
Of course, I encourage you to consult your doctor or physical therapist before engaging in this type of exercise.
I wish you a good viewing :))
